Hi everyone! Some of you may know us, we are TLC Auto Detail based in Chantilly, Virginia. We have been providing high quality detailing and paint protection services to the Northern, Virginia and Washington DC area for years. We specialize in full paint corrections, Modesta Glass Coatings, and fully custom paint protection film wraps. We have been lucky enough to work on hundreds of Teslas over the past few years, and felt it was time to have a presence on the biggest online community of Tesla owners. We are here to answer any questions or give feedback on anything related to detailing, correcting, or protecting your vehicle. Tesla Model X Full Car Clear Guard Nano Paint Protection Film Wrap
This vehicle came to us looking for the best possible protection from rock chips, swirls, and scratches. We came to the conclusion that a full body wrap with Clear Guard Nano Paint Protection Film would be the best protection for this vehicle. Clear Guard Nano is over 8 mils thicker which makes it one of the thickest and best protecting films on the market. It also has the least amount of texture and most gloss of any film currently available. Finally, it also has a hydrophobic layer built into the self healing top coat that not only gives the film extra protection from etchings, but also sheets off dirt and water to ease maintenance.
As with all of our paint protection film installs this one was 100% custom cut, no ill fitting pre-cut kits here. Every emblems and piece of trim was removed to allow full sheets of film to be laid and every edge was wrapped. Providing a fully seamless install not only looks better, but it prevents dirt from building up in exposed edges which can eventually lead to the film lifting.
Every edge fully wrapped and tucked under all trim.
The wheels were also removed and polished in preparation for Modesta BC-06. This sprayed on glass coating will protect the wheels from corrosive brake dust and make them a breeze to keep clean.
The gloss from Clear Guard Nano is absolutely amazing. This gorgeous white Model X will now look great and be extremely easy to maintain for years to come.
