    In September we’re working towards a facelift of the site; some cool new features and graphics.

    We’re all Tesla enthusiasts here but we’re also EV enthusiasts first and foremost and to that end we’re going to start focusing on the ‘Club’ part of TMC. We’re thinking about events and gatherings in the name of TMC. As an example, I’m planning an event here in NJ at a Green Festival where we’ll be giving rides in the Roadster for charity under the banner of TeslaMotorsClub.

    But first; we need a slogan and that’s your job;

    Think up a cool slogan for TeslaMotorsClub and you get two things;
    1. The first T-Shirt with the logo and slogan
    2. Your slogan up on the TMC site!

    We’re also looking for cool logo designs; any ideas; same prize!

    Some starter ideas that I had:
    EV for the petrol head
    Green burn outs
    Plug in racing
    0-fun at the end of an outlet
    Wot no gas?
    The best buzz from a household outlet

    We hope to choose the best slogan at the end of this month so bring them on!

    Thanks,
    TMC

    It already looks like we'll have to have multiple winners!

    It's an illustration of a slogan, but perhaps only a certain subset of people (i.e. US kids of the '80s) would get it.

    BTW,

    I like this as an idea: "Rowdy environmentalism at play." It's still clunky but I like the "Bad Boys doing good" aspect of it. I'm trying to flesh the thought out a bit more.

    Actually, though the marketing used the color red, HD-DVD also uses a blue GaN based laser.

    Now you know, and knowing is half the battle...
