    There was a reference in another thread about confusion of the meaning of "TMC" as "Tesla Motors Club" vs. "Telsa Motors corp".

    When signing a check, I was reminded of that post...

    The official name of the car maker is "Tesla Motors, Inc." (as you can see on their quarterly reports, for example). Thus "TMI" not "TMC".

    Ambiguity resolved.

    How about adding various model designations, i.e Sig, S, P, R SSL, etc.

    And "perf"-- I still see 'perforated' and think it referees to the leather seats briefly every time I see it.

    And I think of film perforations of different types (Kodak and Bell and Howell) that run along camera film. (remember film?)
