Just placed my order for the new X....can't wait!!!! Have a 2016 90D in the garage currently....what are my options?

• Trade in with Tesla
• Sell Privately
• Trade in Elsewhere - any options?

I also purchased the 4 year extended warranty earlier this year. Is that refundable or transferrable to the new X?

I've been playing around with the idea now too to upgrade to the newer long range, but.... what about the interior refresh? I think I might wait it out a bit longer.

Good luck getting anything close to $68k for your car. Here's a loaded 2016 90D with new 4yr/50k warranty for 57K.

Ahhh, well the X's are fetching 66-70K, but again that from Tesla and the 4yr/50k warranty starts over, no deductible like the extend warranty has.

If yours is fully loaded then I'd expect you could get the 68K out of an unsuspecting buyer, who doesn't realize the extended warranty is deductible based and the tesla CPO isn't. I'd say 65K is realistic with your warranty. Or you never know, someone may just buy the damn thing at 68K. I've sold some stuff for asking price fully expecting someone knock the price down 10-20% I'd start at 70K and expect a realistic offer at 65K with the warranty.

I got $4k more from Carmax than Tesla on my old MX 90D, check them.

I got 13k more from carbiz than what tesla offered on my 2017 S90D (sold last month).

Tesla pays about $5K below wholesale, so never trade to them.

I used the blinker app to sell my S - as long as you’re cool meeting up at a bank to do the transfer, all should go well and you’ll get the most money.
