Odd that the link says "Signature 100". That is "VP24" not a Sig 100.

I think people refer to it as "The Tea-Cup car."

As far as I know, none of the EPs were sold, and are gone now.

Some of the low VIN VPs, and Founders' had "1.0" at fist like some low numbered Sig 100.
But they had 100% cars brought back for retrofit, so I don't think there are any 1.0 drivetrains on the road. It was a temporary situation until 1.5 was ready.

I think some people mistakenly assume that productions sequence went EP->VP->Founders'->Sig 100 but it was more parallel/interspersed production for later VP / Founders' mixed in with the Sig cars.
So VP24 was built intermixed with Founders' and Sig 100 production as I recall.
So, one needs to note the production date ( Sep 2008 ) to figure out what sort of parts were going into that car when they made it.
Although it was built like a Sig 100, it got the VP designation because it was made for Tesla (not a customer) to use for marketing / demo purposes. But they eventually sold it to a private individual.

I saw EP2 at Menlo Park not long before that location closed. At that time the seats were no longer the original beige. So that was well into production, maybe close to the end of production (I don't remember the dates), so this should have been past the time when it might have been cannibalized for other purposes. Perhaps it went into storage somewhere?
