Get a halo9. Do it right. We are driving 6figure cars, why are we adding 15$ worth of failed android devices to them to avoid having the original double din parts remade or a proper single din put in?

I seem to remember some Elise owners doing the Halo9, I figured it'd fit just as well with the 1.5, since the hvac isn't in the way of lower positions.

EDIT: Sound Garage --- Found what Halo9 looks like in the car. Decent.
Reviews on the sony unit seem to be.... hit or miss. :/ bummer. I've been looking for something. Maybe one of the units that uses the phone as the display for the device?

Seems like a solid deal, considering what 468 is listed at and what BaT just went for. Curious of the ideal range.

Ok, I'm a little nervous but excited because I just bought #231 over the phone. I've never bought a car that I didn't physically see or test drive. Granted this isn't just a car but I've never physically been near a Roadster let alone test drive one.
I asked for the CAC but the dealer wasn't able to find it through the menu. Can someone supply instructions on how to access that screen? Once received, I'll upload for review.
I really appreciate the current and past post here. I've learned so much to help me make a wise purchase but then you also got me hopelessly hooked into joining the club. Should arrive early next week.

tap screen 6-7 times; 1050 diagnostic code. "ESS" first tab; then "SOC" state of charge; cac will be displayed at top.

it said the car had 6 bricks? tell them to take a picture of this ess soc screen. See what it shows for SOC%, MIN% and MAX%. If you have a big difference between MIN% and MAX% (more than 3% or so), the battery is out of balance and or has bad bricks.

If not then if the car has 115-130 miles of range for 85-90k mile car then this is normal; cac should be around 120-125 is my estimate should be fine for $40k

The issue is once less and less miles are achieved on the car the reduced torque or power it puts into it. But 120-130m range should provide just as much torque for you as it did for the prior user during the 80k miles.

i think just the photos. the lighting can impact how Thunder Gray looks in pictures

Also keep in mind that CAC / ideal miles can drop in the first months after using the car if the car hasn't been used for a long period, like mentioned here:

Thanks Jason for the steps to get to the ESS SOC. The dealer was able to send me a photo of it. CAC is 111.91. He said it had a current range of 165 miles but I believe there are different Range indicators. I've seen within this forum that the Ideal Range is the best indicator.

I should be very careful. A CAC of 111 means a degradation of 49 points is 30%. My experience is that after 25% the degradation goes much quicker. As there is no news yet about battery replacement offered by Tesla you might be stuck very quickly like me with a CAC of 90.
Next to that I doubt the 155 mile standard range. BMS could be off, like Logticom mentions.
When new the ideal standard range was about 190 miles. Taking 30% degradation into account means now 133 miles. The mentioned 155 miles could well be maximum range which was new 240 miles.

Basically the same as 468, aka the eBay roadster, and the BaT roadster that just sold for ludicrous money.

with a CAC of 112, i'd say the 155mi is Range Charge Ideal. Standard will be in the 120-ish ballpark
