Today's Roadster Orphan

Standard Mode is the best practice for a month. 90% of bricked Roadsters are due to charger failure during Storage Mode. It’s better to have 20-30 days to discover your charger has failed (if it fails with the car at 83% SOC), than 10 days or less (if charger fails at 40% SOC).

Also, HUGE important factor is to ensure it has a dedicated 240V charger. 110V does not cool the battery unless the battery reaches a very high temperature, and is the least reliable charger (for long term use) out there.
This is accurate, but if you knew that car wouldn't be driven for a month I would consider inhibiting the APS (or, better yet, pulling the disconnect plug).

Great advice as well - inhibiting APS is also a great way to let the car sleep at ambient temperature, without losing miles every day. I do this to mine in the summertime to avoid the coolant pump running and creating more heat in the ESS

"VIN 2500

We offer the unique opportunity to buy the very last Tesla Roadster ever built, VIN 2500. It is not only the very last Roadster which came out of the factory, it was also prepared and conditioned in a very special way. This car comes in an unique sparkling white, a special white & black interior trim, full Carbon package inside, unique Carbon diffusor, the VIN 2500 badging, white ornaments on the rims and Signatures of the Tesla Team from back in the days on the battery. VIN 2500 was never registered, stored on tire pillows on marble floor and has only ca. 200km original mileage from the factory. The original coverage on the steering wheel, hand brakes, etc. is still on. Of course the battery was kept on ideal level and the overall car serviced. Imagine you missed like everybody the chance for a Ferrari 250 GTO before the prices really took off, now you have it with this very special collectors car from the most valuable car manufactorer (SIC) in the world."

To add some more historical info as we memorialize #2500, the paint is a one-off special edition titled “Morning Frost White” which was evidently an Aston Martin paint code. Of the 9 worldwide Final Edition vehicles, 7 were Atomic Red, 1 in Ion Blue, and this car in Morning Frost White. This is one of approx. 8 vehicles worldwide that received the OEM Clear Carbon diffuser.

I don't know the VIN. If it is a 2012 model then it would be a SFZRE VIN > 938...
I was hoping the EV918 plate might mean VIN #918, but that would be a 2011.

Something odd - those are the older style forged wheels more like what would be found on a 2008-2010.

I never got good at tracking down VINs on China / HK Roadsters.
