I asked for the range, they just got it sitting in warehouse charging now. He stated 255 of top his head but not sure yet. Dealer stated:

The original owner he said he just didn’t drive it enough, just purchased a new Bentley and that’s what he’s been driving. He said it just sat there and collected dust.

I don't have &^%$ you money sitting around.

Pics for that WHITE car shows it 75% charged and the range is 120.... 205 ideal... Seems kinda low for an R80... wonder if someone can get the CAC to see the real status of the R80 battery pack...

What is the ideal range? std/rng modes? Can you get a log dump?

60-70k is the range for clean low mileage, imo...this appears to be at the upper end, but with battery/PEM upgrade, could be worth it. The 40k for battery/PEM doesn't automatically make it worth more, but it does take risk off the table for wear and tear on that system that you should not have to worry about near-term.

She looks nice.

Sorry in the delay. Looks like 298 miles at 90 percent. But the degradation from the 3.0 Longevity threads are my concerns. The other image I don't know as much on as you guys.

the trends from the 3.0 battery thread made me question trying to find one with it . . . what kind of range does it get per charge, currently?
I appreciate eveyone's inputs. At least SUCKER is not written across my forehead after getting schooled from this group. See enclosed pictures for range and CAC. Again the 3.0 Longevity threads on these packs are the concerns. Car is off warranty July 5 this year.

Interesting the "DATE" on the CAC screen from last activity was June 6th.... so Carl might be right... you will need to pull the log to confirm or have him send you a pic of the screen with a current date...

I'd imagine that car did the same thing my 2.5 did when 2020 hit...it started showing late May dates and is now showing early June. It's completely confused what date it is.

Hitting 2020 was not the cause. Your GPS sensor needs a firmware update to correct for the "week-number rollover problem". See the thread Caution - Annual Service - Car power-down - GPS issue. I can loan to you the cable I made (as discussed in that thread) if you want to fix the problem yourself (since at least some Tesla service centers seem to be unprepared to do it).

I may be alone here, but I’m all for it. With Roadsters for sale at one time in the single digits for the first time in history, prices will begin to rise.

Gentlemen, I'm not attempting to be argumentative, here's an recent assessment on the car's value. Source Fairfax County Personal Property Division (based upon 5YJRE1A32B1001353 R80 Roadster Sport 9300 miles):

Good afternoon Mr. ,

Thank you for your patience. Approximately the assessed value for the tax year of 2020 on a 2011 Tesla Roadster Sport would be around 46,800. The taxes for the vehicle would also be approximately around $1,600 for 12 months.

Meaning car gets totaled, unless carrying additional insurance, 47K is all most insurance companies going to pay.
