The VIN is a USA style (digit 1), not a Candian (digit 6), but I think a lot that went to Canada were like that.

Freak accident where a metal bar in the the freeway tore into the under-body.
All things considered, was a minor sort of mishap, but was tricky (and expensive) to repair due to the exotic tub on the Roadster.

I've been toying with selling, but I'm not there yet. Also, because of the various "upgrades" I've put into the car, I think I would be one of those people asking too much. Perhaps not "lost mind" territory, but higher than most folks on the forums will want, I suspect.

I think it's different to own one and have stuff done to it, vs buying one and tagging a 30% price increase the following week.

Seller notes "...it shows some sun damage in the form of cracking on the leading edge of the top of the dashboard, as well as fading to the clearcoat on some of the carbon fiber exterior trim." Damage to driver's side rocker below A-pillar as well as small tear in passenger seat leather. Soft top front cable also appears to be compromised.

Note: unidentified plastic wrapped payload in trunk. Hardtop bag?

The owner contacted me. "The car was built in the USA, it was purchased through Tesla Toronto. I am the one and only owner it’s a Canadian car". Too much paperwork and hassle to get it back in the USA, let alone the price is out of my range.
