Will a battery replacement agreement expire if the owner is still on the waiting list for a battery?
No. As long as you notified Tesla that you were ready to exercise your contract before the end of 10 years, you'll get your replacement. Unfortunately I've had to inform a couple of Roadster owners that there was a 10-yr expiration in their contract, and they missed it.

I don't think very many battery replacement contract holders are still on the waiting list. Tesla appeared to give them priority.

Having since bought my car, I used to complain on Roadster prices. Now I'm like: "To infinity and beyond!" Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the VIN #414, a 2008 Roadster with 5056 miles or VIN 713 a 2010 Roadster with 592 miles. I'm still on Pete's mailing list.
I never thought we’d see the excess of the 80’s again, but here we are. Whats next, electric limos and locally sourced blow?

from the previous BaT auction it sold at, I believe this is a one-of color combination with the cream interior inside. Beautiful car! And was maintained by Medlock as well.

Sold today for $115,000.
In the current environment that seemed low for a nice R80 (there’s an accident on car fax, but apparently it’s documented with the repair bill to have been cosmetic)

So i did a bit of math, trying to make sense of it. The listing doesn’t show CAC our estimated range. It states the upgrade was done in June 2017, so that’s about 4.5 years ago. That’s about 1,600 days.

Based on @bolosky ’s study that would put the CAC likely somewhere around 165, not that far off from a low mileage original pack (which show up between 145-155), so it would seem that there’s a lower premium on an older R80 conversion.

Of course, I realize I’m extrapolating a lot here out of one data point :)
