Purdy wheels... But the fronts need to be swapped left/right so they have the right spoke spin orientation...

Ah good eye! Though, I think it's the rears that need swapping of sides – plus having their tires un/remounted on the correct side to account for the directional tread

Yeah, I was thinking about the tire swap if the unidirectional tread is wrong. There may be difference of opinion as to the "preferred" spin direction.

At least that fancy finished set has both sides, and isn't all one direction like on many Roadsters.

My vote is the rears should be swapped. 2.5s swoop backwards, 1.5s chop forwards. But in all honesty my 1.5 has them mounted the wrong direction.

My forged 2.5 wheels are marked on the inside for direction. My set of non-forged wheels are not. Since the tires are directional, and those are the forged 2.5 wheels on 993 above, then the tire shop mounted the rear tires wrong.

First owned by Michael Balzary - better known as Flea, the bassist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Not sure that added much to the selling price, but it’s a unique provenance.

Other than that, mostly unremarkable: non-R80, moderate CAC (142.81), moderate mileage (20k mi), 3 owners, minor scuffs and imperfections (door sill, driver’s seat upholstery, seller recommends new tires).

Looks like 968 is back up on ebay again with transforged(or similar?) taillights and two sets of wheels for $125k

That's a huge disparity. I would not think that the "Signature" makes that big of a difference. At least the signature one that sold a few months ago (for $182k or $187k) had all the signature goodies... color eggs, interior swaths, etc.

Plus the blue one had an amazing battery, hard top, the nice interior and a HPWC. All of which add much more value in my eyes.

I though the blue one's interior looked somewhat tattered. The headliner was falling down and the driver seat looked worn and dirty. Just sayin.
