I figured someone may find this interesting...
Took the Tesla to the dealer for its annual checkup
"This post could not be found."
Looks like its on a google+ account which has privacy restrictions, that's my guess.
Well that sucks! I tried it from another browser and user account :-( Sorry - is there any way to delete this thread?
Are you able to share what the post basically said? Just curious now.

The suspense is killing me :/
Welllllll...... I supppooooosssseeee....
Nothing really - just to a bunch of pics and I thought those who had not seen things (motor, PEM outside of the car, new fan blowers, replacing 12V battery, etc.) would be interested.
Cinergi took a bunch of great pictures of an annual service.
A few photos from a 2.5 annual maintenance
Looks like they took the car apart and reassembled! Pretty thorough servicing. Show that to the guys on the maintenance fee forum who are having a small cow...

Shows a bunch of pictures of the annual service detailing how much they do--it's pretty impressive!
(I assume the link is working now that I made it public?)
Its my first service (we bought the car from a previous owner), so my son and I stayed with them the entire day - we got there at 9:30 and left at 5:30. They gave us the loaner truck (I am *not* a truck person) for lunch. They were very hospitable and answered all of my dumb questions with a straight face. All-in-all, the very best (by far) experience I have ever had with any automobile I have ever had serviced anywhere bar-none.

Nope, still doesn't work for me. Also even if it did work the viewer may need to have a "google" account setup to even access it. Currently its prompting for my google username/password and it still fails to display.
It worked for me. I do have a google account.
OK, I give up. Here they (most of them) are (sans notes) in all of their glory.
Great set of pics. And I predict it won't slow down the forum members who are sure that the annual service is a sham.
I agree with best service ever. Again, it's the model I talk about at work. Stellar.
Who is saying it is a sham? ? ? ?
Most people are upset with the pricing and requirement....or announcing it so late.....
I'm sure it is great....should be included.....
I'm not going to go find all the posts that indicate it can't possibly be worth the price. Sorry you felt that was directed at you.
Thanks for the photos. Did you get the new fan assembly (looks like it from the pictures)? Were you having problems or did they just upgrade it?
No problems, they said the new fan assembly was going to folks in hot and/or dusty environs. I notice a different (perhaps quieter and higher pitch) sound. Can't really say it makes a difference cooling (although they said it was supposed to be more efficient, being a single motor and all.)
I, too, got a new fan thingy, even though I was having no problems. The ranger said the new one is better, so he put it in. It's neither not nor dusty in Spokane. Stellar service. Kind of expensive, but you expect expensive service on a hand-built high-performance sports car. And they spend a lot of time and are very thorough. Not sure it will fly when they get to GenIII. The more affordable the car, the more reluctant people will be to pay a lot for service.
