Interesting to see that a franchise like Top Gear got their Camera Men rejected at the door. Goes to show the shift in media influences, "Like Tesla," MKBHD and that annoying guy have full on recaps with quality video and no crew.

Anyway, still a good video to the Masses, I love watching this movement grow.

So, after watching the video I guess he has a version of Autopilot that no longer requires keeping your hands on the wheel. I wonder how long it will be now until the masses get that version.

Strange he had charged to 95% SoC at Kettleman. He didn’t need to which is why it took 50 minutes. He could have been out of there in 30mins and still made it to LA...? Maybe Top Gear wanted to show that electric still has a big difference to gas cars in refueling.

Given it's recomended to have your hands on the wheel etc. etc. it seems massively irresponsible for the producers of Top Gear to film the presenter/driver behind the wheel with his hands behind his head and not mention this disclaimer about AP at all. Given the litigious history between Tesla and Top Gear I'm amazed they were allowed into the Fremont factory, and then to even have anyone from that show in the "Y" event !!!

Or maybe those new to electric just aren't comfortable not "filling up" as they are accustomed to with ICE.
