Toronto SC Grand Opening

The new service center is now softly open as of this week. You can book service there now. Apparently there are 4 techs at each location.

Great news!

Eight techs in Toronto, huh? I remember the "good old days" when we had ONE tech in Canada - just a few years ago! First it was Dustin, but he moved to Hong Kong by the end of 2010 and was replaced by Eli. Mark joined a couple of months later. These days I've never met most of the techs!

I'll have to drive out to the new location at some point, but I am glad they're keeping the Mississauga one open!

Google Maps have already updated their database to reflect the new Toronto SC:

...and they've updated My Dashboard. I am scheduled to take delivery in March of 2014. Previously, this showed the Tranmere location.

...also noticed they added a section for me to put my insurance information. Is that new to all or just new to me?

I got my invite, and would like to make it out, but I work in the Waterloo Region and it is a royal pain getting through Toronto from the west end at that time of day.

It is indeed both a showroom and service centre. It is actually open and being used already and has been for a little while. The property was originally to be a Lambo dealership and has LOTS of room, indoor parking and a roomy service centre area.

I couldn't make it - too busy right now. One of the guys sent me a couple of pics. The store looks quite big inside. Also a lineup of 15 sets of Tesla headlights outside. Maybe he'll post them.

I was there. It's a beautiful facility! I' m quite pleased that they are keeping the Tranmere location. The DVP isn't very convenient for people in the west side of the GTA.
