After less than 1500 miles I notice one or two minor nicks in my Deep Blue Metallic M3LR. Annoyingly one right by the drivers side handle. No idea how it happened as it’s only me that drives the car.

Yes it’s also useful to share experiences of products. At £43 I am still weighing up options but when I do opt for a touch up kit I’ll share my experiences. Hopefully this being an owners forum others may also benefit from it.

It says enough coverage for 24 chips / repairs

To work out the value, convert that to garage / smart repairs. In the grand scheme of things £42 for a £42k car is 0.001% of the value

Tesla used to resell Dr Colour Chip touch-up paint, an interesting approach whereby the paint includes clear coat, is dropped beside the damage and then smeared over for a few minutes, then solution gently applied and held to remove the excess, leaving the colour to appear after further time in a non-matte way.

i've used the ChipEx kit on Model 3 Perf White and still have it incase needed for the MY.
Did a good enough job for me provided you are patient and follow the instructions.

Match was pretty spot on once it was all layered up and polished
