We are waiting for our model S late October / early November.
I have read with great interest about paint protection - mainly optic coat pro. I have never tried anything like this before but again I never owned a 90k car. Has anyone tried tough guard. Our detailer (who we trust and have done excellent work for us in the past) swears by this product which carries a 5 year warranty just like optic coat pro. Tough guards website looks impressive - being used for airplanes and boats including our military.
Our detailer said it will cost $300 + detailing. He said they don't advertise much as their main business is not automobiles.
Any thoughts?
