Tow hitch cover

I find the tow hitch cover to be an afterthought.
I have to kneel down to reach under and use my fingernails to pop out the two plastic clips. And I found out the hard way that if you leave these out, the cover will fall off.

Is anyone willing to post elegant custom solutions, such as a single Zeus clip or magnetic design alternative to hold the cover in place?

My solution was to just leave my hitch installed most of the time, and maybe put the cover back in Winter time or just until really needed again. I agree though, it is a sucky towing solution overall as far as the cover goes.

Agreed, as the little plastic clips broke 0ff on mine, I think we need a solution.

I modified the cover and keep hitch in place all of the time.
