I am looking for some advice with the MY tow hitch dust cover. It really has to be there to keep the cavity of the bumper semi-clean. However it is held on with about a dozen plastic spring clips that don’t really seem like that want to be released. I bought a trim removal tool and got the cover off, damaging at least 2 clips. So how do you let Tesla know that this design isn’t useable, and how do you modify it for the time being so that tow hitch bike racks can be installed and removed with relative ease?

Sometimes cutting and damaging parts is not always the best solution, but rather a shirt cut. It will work.. but there has to be a better way than cutting up the cover.
