Tow Hitch (Factory) Waiting Room

Just received a text telling me that the MY is on its way. Vin # 33xxx White LR AWD, Black interior, 19 Gemini, WITH TOW HITCH
Pickup scheduled for 8/5 at Springfield NJ location. Ordered back in Jan, this is my 4th vin #. First one I had to delay pickup for a week and they wouldn’t do it so I passed. 2 vins came and went. Really helpful Ryan at the NJ location helped me get this one so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this delivery will go smoothly.

There have been conflicting reports that stealth would not be manufactured anymore. When I contacted Tesla and asked, the person I spoke with said he doesn't know what will happen with stealth and recommended for me to change the order.
Tow hitch came installed on my Y picked up 7/19. The cover is a beast but was able to remove with Living Tesla tool. Here are some pictures

Or you print your own like I did
. It does work well though. If you're printing your own however increase he infill to more than 25%. I had mine set to that and one broke ... Model Y is just fine though. Just need to print another set a little more dense for strength.

I might have to get those prying tools for removing the hitch cover. For now I've decided to leave my "dust cover" off.
I drove about 2 miles on a dusty dirt road just 3 days after taking delivery, and found later that the hitch area was full of a thick layer of dust. I don't think it could be much worse with the cover removed.

I’ve got an LR, MSM/black, Gemini, No FSD, Tow on order (05/12/2020). Had a VIN end of June, but had to give it up after I was COVID-19 positive.
I got a text today saying they had my config available, but without the hitch. The text said that if I decide to wait, it could be “days to weeks” before I get one (of course, haha!!).
I’m tempted to pay the extra $200 for SC install...my wife got her LR, Red/White, Gemini, No FSD, No Tow last week and she’s loving it. And I’m looking longingly at it every time I leave for work in my 2017 Bolt haha!!

If you have no immediate use for it and don't mind the extra cost and hassle why not. In my case I already have a Tsla without a hitch and a new E-Bike that I can't haul to my summer cottage. I might as well wait for the MY with hitch.
The waiting is almost over!
Just received word today... our Modal Y AWD, White/Black, 5 seat, 19" + Tow Hitch + FSD driving will be arriving within 1-2 weeks.
Taking delivery in Tampa, Florida

UPDATE!
We picked up our new Model Y on Sunday, August 2nd from the Tampa Tesla. They called to say it arrived early and could we come in. Oh, yeah!
All went well. No issues, whatsoever!
(This surprised us considering all the issues people have been having.) Loving our Model Y (GraceE)! We are having the full protective package done for her right now: Ceramic Pro 9H, Clear Bra on the front hood, bumper, fenders, and mirrors, and full window tinting with stone guards for the wheel wells. This was a bit of a cost
($4800), but we think it will be worth it in the long run.We asked the Tesla delivery representative how many Model Y's they were delivering each day.
They said they were delivering 20/day, 6 days/week!
