Towel inside the car??

The back trunk lining was coming loose on my M3. As I went to tuck it back under the rubber I looked inside to see the amp and subwoofer - but then I also saw a small yellow towel packed inside yet space. Confused, I opened the lining on the other side and saw a yellow towel stuffed in that side as well! My guess is the towel was there to protect the subwoofers when the car was built or for delivery but they forgot to take them out?? Anyone ever heard of this? With all the wires in there I would imagine this could be a fire hazard so wanted to post about it in case others may have this issue. Attached photos of it.

Or maybe they are there to absorb moisture drips or runs that might otherwise damage something. At the very least they contribute a small amount to acoustic control. I suggest you disconnect your seat heaters if you are so worried about fire hazards.
