Towing 2500 lbs with the Y

I don't need a pickup truck.....
I know the car is only rated for 2000 lbs, but it was stable. It helped that I also had 800 lbs in the car. It is amazing how much power the car has. My range was reduced by 40%. And I'm glad the supercharger was mostly empty.....

Yeah, 25 blocks (?), depending on the type, 25-50lbs. each? I wouldn't put that much weight in my car. It's not volume that's the problem, it's the weight.

If the blocks are what I think they are, it's well over 1000lbs. Yikes! ...and I'm not even thinking about a trailer...

Wow, the thickness of some of those blocks don't look like 24 lb blocks to me. What's the weight loaded on the roof?

826lb. limit, load and passengers.
826lb. limit, load and passengers PLUS tongue weight.

Also on most cars, the higher performance wheels lower the towing capacity a lot.

I’d never stack bricks in my car like that.

What if you hit something?

That shelf is like made of dense styrofoam.

Even on my full size Jeeps anything over 2000lbs needed brakes in the trailer.
