    I've seen video (or perhaps it was just a photo) of this Toyota loom before. However, it was in the context of making high pressure hydrogen storage tanks for their HFCVs.

    Ok, then the timing is right. I saw this presentation and Toyota guy spent a lot of time talking about the CF weave for the H2 tanks (particularly slide 13). I saw the loom vid not long after than and probably made the CFRP H2 tank connection (whether there is one or not) myself.
