TPMS Question

Hi just took delivery of my MY yesterday. I live in Canada and will be buying a second set of rims for my winter tires.

Right now I have the stock tires on the 19" Gemini's. I'm thinking that this fall I will put winter tires on the Gemini's and then next sprint I will buy a set of 19" Replika rims for the stock tires.

My question: does it make sense to buy the second set of TPMS sensors this fall when I buy the winter tires

do I wait until the spring when I get the wheels

Are the sensors mounted to the wheels or do they attach to the tires?

They are mounted to the wheels, and can be removed and put into the other wheels as needed. Because I don't want to unmount my tires from the rim, I just got a second set of TPMS sensors.

Good idea. I'd recommend buying a second set of TPMS. The sensors can be damaged if constantly uninstalled/reinstalled from the rim.
