TPMS Warning doesn't disappear after adjusting it

Yesterday, the TPMS warning light came on for one of the tire (front passenger side at 38 psi). The driver side was about the same psi (38-39) but no warming lights. I've inflated more air on all the tires and check the pressures to be 40 psi all around, but the warning light isn't going away on the front passenger. I've drove couple hours after adjusting it, but it's still on this morning.

Is there a problem with the sensor itself? or the car? I will be swapping to my winter set end of October, but I'd like to resolve it as it's bothering my wife.

I had to push my 19in tires to 45 psi. Ran the car for a bit, and it cleared. Once it cleared, I lowered it to 42 psi.

I reset the TPMS sensors and re-calibrated, then the warning light turned off. The pressures seem to stay at the level.

The reset command will let you set the "normal" value that you want to use. Fyi, by default it's probably set to 42psi which is the recommended pressure in the door jamb.

All the previous fixes may work, but sometimes the problem is as simple as the sensor is bad, or the sensor needs a new battery. The sensor also may have lost connection with the TPMS.
