Track time display doesn't show for Bluetooth?

I primarily listen to audio over bluetooth in my 3, and for the most part it's great. One thing I'd love to see though is the track progress displayed on the screen. I've seen screenshots of this being shown for other audio sources before, but I've never once seen it displayed on my screen, so I'm wondering if it's a setting I need to turn on, or if it just doesn't work for audio when using bluetooth?

Any ideas?

Also, I do find it weird that when I unlock the car and open the door it connects immediately and plays whatever I was listening to last, but then it stops as soon as I close the door.

I know it’s a little thing, but I’ve wanted this feature since day 1. Slacker shows a progress bar; I wish Bluetooth did too. My old $99 car stereo could do this. ;)

Yeah these are the silly pains these cars have. I dont understand how such a simple, easy SW feature is not added given im an engineer my self. I also hate the phone call tone, its so bland and terrible.
