Heard back again from the product specialist. They sent me the final documents and the "Pay" button showed up on the MyTelsa page. I live 350 miles away from the closest Tesla store, so I still qualify for home delivery "Your car is expected to be finished in the factory next week. The car will be shipped to Dallas as our regional hub and then will be detailed and shipped on an enclosed carrier to you."

Bperry I went to the Seattle Service Center today and spoke to the folks there. All shipments are now being routed to the Seattle center until the construction work is completed at the Bellevue place. Yesterday there was a shipment of cars and one of them was an MC red. I missed seeing it today, coz somebody decided to take it to the Bellevue center. Not sure if it was yours. All the other cars are there. Some of them real dusty!!. Seems like they came on an open truck. Believe they do the final inspection and call you in for taking delivery.

I work two blocks from the Seattle Service Station so will be taking a peak at the cars everyday during lunch :)

I live in Wallingford, just a quick bus ride away from South Lake Union, so i'd choose Seattle over Bellevue any time. Since the App connected for the first time yesterday, i'm guessing its probably finishing up and road testing yesterday/today/tomorrow? And then likely being shipped Friday-Tues.

I'll let you know more when I have a more concrete date. My Delivery Specialist is *REALLY* frustrating, takes 24-48 hrs to respond to emails and doesn't answer his phone.

Slightly OT, but Tesla is rapidly approaching five digit VINs. Very exciting!

I saw a Motley Fool article or something similar a long time ago (July '12?) that said Tesla was a 'Risky' buy or a 'Sell' because they'd need to make 10k cars to even turn a profit. I commented on that article a long time ago citing that i was reservation 10,307 and that the risk evaluation was wrong. Well turns out they were actually profitable before that, they're rapidly approaching the number that the site said would make them profitable and there are no signs of slowing down.

I find it amazing how much news about Tesla has been shaped by knee-jerk popular opinion and not by the facts. I, for one, am proud to support this company. Both by a vehicle purchase and in stock.

Just saw an MC red unload at the Seattle Service Center. Its Vin #8367.

Just called the service center and moved my pickup appointment from Sunday to Friday! He was surprised that i knew it was there saying that it had only been unloaded hours earlier! Thank you SeattleGuy! YOU ROCK! You just gave me my car 2 days early!

Xhawk, is that a Signature Red next to it? It really outshines the Sig Red, doesn't it ?

I am glad its yours. Gives me a bit more confidence that mine could be delivered before the end of the month. Although I am furious that my sequence# was well above yours :-(.

I have a couple more pictures of your car and a video of them unloading the car. Its pretty dusty, the seattle center folks told me they will do a through detailing before they call you for delivery.
