Tracking P85D delivery thread

Has anyone picking up from the Fremont factory received any indicator of 'end of line' date? I've asked Nikki (my Fremont "Delivery Experience Specialist") a couple times and this was her response: "To confirm, the estimated delivery window highlights the estimated timeframe in which your Model S will be produced and delivered. We do not give out any dates referred to as “EOL” to our clients at this time nor in the past."

Also, Andrew, I was given an 'estimated delivery window' of December 10 – December 24, but I wasn't able to enter this date range in column G because the spreadsheet is set to use standard date data validation (only accepts a single date).

It is indeed a huge window. The estimated delivery at confirmation and on the My Tesla dashboard shows 'December.' My DS initially e-mailed me with a delivery window of December 17-31 on 10/21 (as part of the Pre-Delivery Actions List email), and then emailed again to update it to December 10-24 on 10/23. Maybe we can replace the EOL column with a 'delivery window' column if that is the information our delivery specialists are willing/able to provide.

Has anyone else received the "Model S Delivery Process" email containing a "Pre-Delivery Actions List" and estimated delivery window?

YESSS! Finally I got my tentative schedule date from my DS. Too sad it's really LATE December. December 28th at 2 pm is the time for me. I am surprised he even gave me the time.

He really shouldn't have. Back in mid September they changed their policy not to set appointments until the vehicle is being transported. Then again maybe they changed their policy again.

well he did remind me that it's still tentative and could change. (which I am hoping that it will change to an earlier date)

I'm surprised how many people are ordering without the 3rd row seating... I was nervous about not ordering this option (ordered everything else but don't need/want 7 seats) but feel better now.

P85D - Black - Grey next gen seats - Black headliner - matte obeche - 21" Cyclones for summer and winter (silver summer, black winter) - ordered Oct. 11 - Delivery estimate Dec 26-31.

I'm surprised how many people are ordering without the 3rd row seating... I was nervous about not ordering this option (ordered everything else but don't need/want 7 seats) but feel better now.

The third row seats are only for kids weighing something like 25-77 pounds. So unless you have a couple of those to transport (or may in the future), along with a bunch of other people, there's no use for the third row.

Not sure I understand. You don't have a VIN but they gave a delivery date?

Someone over at teslamotors.com got theirs too, looks like they're rolling them out in batches now.

Dumb question: am I not supposed to have a DS assigned to me yet since I already got a VIN? Haven't heard from anyone yet...
