Trade in options

I wasn't going to trade in, but I'm actually thinking it could save me the hassle of having to go through all the guff with selling it.

Obvious only downside is that I won't get the real value of the car.

I had confirmed I'm not trading in with Tesla and was going to sell my car afterwards. However, I am now seriously debating just trading it in, on top of my deposit. Thinking it's likely a lengthy phone call with Tesla but just wondered if anyone has any experience of deciding last minute to trade in and what the process was like.

Sounds painful dealing with Tesla. I'd just get WBAC quote and dispose of that way.

AFAIK:

Quote remains valid if car is delayed
Probably won't quibble minor scuff marks ... whereas the only time I took a car to WBAC they reduced the price for each mark they could find

I'd just get WBAC quote

WBAC offering me £4K for old VW ICE and pleasantly surprised to fine that Motorway is offering £7K ...
