I should have read this thread sooner. I'm frustrated with the trade-in process and how slow it's going with Tesla. I got a quote from CarMax on my 2011 BMW x5d of $23k. Kbb has it around $27k. At first Tesla told me $20k. They said they need to see it to try to get me more money. A third party just came out and appraised it but I still don't know how much they will give me for my trade. I'd like to get the tax break if I can trade it in to Tesla but it's going so slow. I'm also in FL. Not sure if they use AutoNation or what.
