So we'd like to trade in our 2004 sunfire. Got an offer for it, I'm not too concerned with the amount, I just want it off the driveway.
The sunfire is registered to my wife, the m3 is registered to me.
When I spoke with Yorkdale, they told me that it could be a problem since their understanding is that the trade in name must match or be part of the m3 names.
Is this accurate?
My delivery is tomorrow, and I just got the trade in confirmation today. If the names have to match then I won't do the trade in (we basically have to redo all paperwork which would probably delay delivery). Ideally I'd like to trade in to get it over with and not deal with the hassle of a private sale.
