I thought about buying that hitch lock or this other one from Masterlock (see link below), but was concerned about several reviews mentioning that they corroded or the lock failed after a few months. All products have some bad reviews, so it’s hard to tell which one is really the best.

The way I look at reviews is

1. Ignore the 1's and 5's
2. Look mostly at the 3's and 4's for reviews with specific issues that I might care about. If multiple people say they had a problem with specific this or that, then assuming this or that mattered to me, I'll probably not buy it. So in this case, do lots or people complain about corrosion?
