I’m looking for a way to enter an address into an app or webpage on my PC and it will transfer to the Tesla Model Y.
You can do this on your phone via the native sharing feature. For example, if you’re viewing a location in Google maps, you can use the Share button and select the Tesla app and it will send that location as the destination to your car. One great thing is you can even do this when the car is moving, which is useful when if a passenger wants to change the navigation destination, or if you’re getting picked up by someone else and want to tell them where you are.
Using your phone you can use the "send to" option to send an address from your address book, search results, maps application to your Tesla vehicle. (Your Tesla will appear under the recipients.) The next time you start to drive the address will be loaded in the Tesla navigation system.
“One great thing is you can even do this when the car is moving, which is useful when if a passenger wants to change the navigation destination, or if you’re getting picked up by someone else and want to tell them where you are.” Can you explain in greater detail? You talking about Google Maps?
