Transfer reservation to my cousin?

All I could find is that written permission from Tesla is required; is all I have to do to ask Tesla? What are Tesla's limitations? (It's actually for a Plaid X)

Someone please enlighten me, also I'm not smart enough to find where this is already being discussed that has the answers.

Generally, they do not do transfers.
You could, in theory, transfer your entire Tesla account to your cousin that the reservation is in, as long as you don't have any other cars on that account. They've been cracking down on other methods, though. You could try to ask an SA if you're friendly with one.

You can do two person registration.
Cousin pays for the car.
After delivery you can transfer the car to his own Tesla account.
Also, release liability via state DMV after transfer.
Cousin is happy.
