Bumping this thread after a few years....what ever happened to a "Tri-State Area Group" - - or even a "Downstate New York Group"...?? Surely after all these years and Tesla locations in NYC, Long Island, etc. there are enough owners in the downstate NY area to start a Group?

New York should not be in Mid Atlantic. We are either Northeast (if added to New England) or Tri State (NY NJ CT). Millions of people in the greater NYC area that it makes sense to give Tri State (NY NJ CT) our own sub forum. We aren't going to have a meet in Pittsburgh or pick up a set of rims in McLean, VA.

Mid Atlantic covers too much area in PA and south of the Mason Dixon line.

So I guess no Tri State sub forum...Getting my X towards end of the month and would like to know if anyone in the area can recommend Xpel Wrap detailer and Dashcam installer. Thanks for any input!

Maybe you want here Mid-Atlantic. ?
So, yes and no.

New York, is locally considered between New England and the Mid-Atlantic. Historically, we are different as a Dutch colony, not English. Also, our population is mainly in the NYC area, so we say Tri-State (NY, NJ and CT...all areas where you commute to NYC for work). Many forums offer a Tri-State forum for us, since we are culturally and geographically different than PA, MD, VA, etc.
