I had an executive summit off-site in Sonoma California this week, so I decided to take the P85D and make a trip out of it. I left Santa Monica Monday March 30, 2015 with 6.1, didn't drive at all while there, upgraded to 6.2, and drove back on Thursday April 02, 2015.

910 miles, 304 kWh used, 334 Wh/mi. Didn't take it above 90 too much except in a few places, maybe 30 minutes total above 85. The rest was 60-85.

I took photos of my dash upon arriving at each Supercharger. I never had to wait for an SC stall.

This cow blocked my way for a minute leaving the summit.

Some strangeness with 6.2 trip planning, routing me to a the Culver City SC, which is past my house.

A great trip, I used TACC for 80% of it and it worked really well under all sorts of stop / start / merge scenarios. I felt safer using it.

Just curious, as I went up the Central Valley last week to the bay area, when you past the feedlots at Harris Ranch with AC set to recirculate, did the smell still inundate the cabin?

Harris ranch 24 KW? Geez, is that like a 2 hours of charging? Noticed many of your shots show 60KW or lower even with low SOCs. Did these charge rates pick up or was it like when you first plugged in and it was still ramping up? 24KW is like 4KW more than an HWPC.

    Not at all.

I took the photos seconds after plugging into the chargers, so it was still ramping up.

Thanks for the clarification, I was concerned that those low numbers were going to kick off another "throttling" thread.

Glad you had a good trip!

My experience was that just a few minutes north of the Harris ranch SC, the smell was strong inside the cabin even though I had the AC on recirculate. If it weren't as hot I would have tried not having any air at all. At the SC location itself I didn't smell anything bad.

There is that infamous area where it just plain stinks. I've had it seep into other cars I have had with recirc on too.
