Trouble connecting to car android 7.1 phone

I have an axon 7 and the phone works as a key (usually) and I can control the car (like open trunk) but it doesn't show me the cars status (its just grey) and bottom says 'last updated' and the circle keeps moving.

I tried restarting the phone, app, wifi, bluetooth, LTE. But nothing really works.

Any idea whats wrong? Is my android version too old?

Tesla has been having server issues the last two days. I’m starting to think they might be getting hit by a DDOS attack.

Just hang tight. Things will be back to normal soon.
