Troubleshooting: RWD car, pulls to the right when accelerating

I have a 2013 Model S which is rear wheel drive only, that has begun exhibiting a worrying behavior in just the last few months: at higher speeds (above about 60mph) if I hit the throttle to speed up the car suddenly tries to veer to the right, and when I let off it wobbles to the left. Now I might expect torque steer from a FWD vehicle, but this car is RWD. Originally I thought it might be the suspension, so I had it checked by a company that specializes in suspensions, and they said the suspension is in good condition and the bushings are in great shape. I haven't noticed any other issues that might be related, and there's no noticeable motor whine so I don't suspect the differential. Since my car is out of warranty, the Tesla service center will charge quite a bit just to look at it, and these days it's not easy to get there, so I figured I'd post here first. Maybe someone has an answer, and it could help others who are experiencing the same issue.

Any tire wear on right rear?. I have lowering problem. Right rear does not adjust correctly. Tesla said if I didn't need it to stop using.it. it was doing same, going right on hard acceleration. And wearing out right rear tires. They said it would cost alot of trouble shooting time.
I said forget it. It is fine now.

Rear toe arm (can't recall if Tesla calls them links) bushings have failed.

This is somewhat common, with many of us that can credit having experienced and had it repaired if under warranty.

I had this happen to me recently. Took it to Tesla and they diagnosed it as an issue with the rear toe arm. The parts were $200 for the pair. Rear left and right. But Tesla wanted $1500 for labor. My local guy who deals with Tesla’s was able to do it for $500 for labor. I was able to buy the parts off of Tesla. My mechanic actually told me that the wear wasn’t so bad. Drives well afterwards but I’m starting to feel it ever so slightly so maybe these is something else that’s wrong. Still much better than before.
