Trunk won't open from screen?

you could do a bug report. Press the right scroll wheel to bring up the microphone, then say "bug report" and that you can't open the trunk from the screen. Also, try a reset. I do it after every update. Press and hold the brake pedal and two scroll wheels until the Tesla "T" appears on the screen.

No brake pedal needed for a soft reboot... just hold the wheels for a good 4 seconds (one missippi, two missippi...). The reboot usually starts about ten seconds after letting go.

Also, "bug report" logs a timestamp to your car, but it doesn't go anywhere. The only way the service center sees it is if they connect to your car.

Open your door, then press the lock icon at the top of the center screen. Same thing happened to me. Latch relay was replaced and it worked again. Also you can’t use autopilot while the car believes the trunk is open.

I have the same problem. From screen, can’t open trunk or frunk. Only way to open them is through the app.

TLDR, wont open while the doors are locked.
hit unlock on the screen first.
