Damn.....these cars are fun, but you're driving that fast in a school zone? A$$hole....
Hopefully everyone is ok, but as far as insurance goes, isn't insurance to cover ACCIDENTS. Doesn't look like this was an accident. It was an intentional act for the driver to be going that fast (would be far exceeding speed limit in this case). So, IMHO I say they should feel the burden of their actions and get $0 and foot the repair bill themselves (which is probably going to be a complete write off given the battery pack likely took a huge hit, not to mention other structural damage).
Hope they can afford another $120k for the replacement car (not sure it was a Model X or S, but looks too big to be a 3?)...either way, he/she is an idiot....what if they went sideways and smashed into the cars/people at the school? If you want to go fast, go to a track, or at least go to a country road where you'll hit a phone pole or tree, and not kids/families
