Trying to transfer footage from USB is requiring formatting

I have the USB that comes with the new builds the Tesla logo is on it. I got some dashcam footage that I want to transfer to my phone to upload it. But when I plugged in the USB to my phone it says I need to format it first which would obviously erase everything. Then when I plug it back to the car I can see it again. Anyone know any work arounds?

Yea thanks that worked. Would have been nice to be able to transfer it right to my phone but I don't really to erase everything to format it that way I don't have to take the USB home
