TUNEIN gone!

I just noticed that my TUNEIN selection is gone! Now I can't listen to my favorite podcasts. Tried a screen reset, nothing. 2021.24.28 version. Anyone have any ideas how to restore it? Thank you!

Model S is 2017. That is correct... Tunein does not show up on audio settings screen or at the bottom of the main screen as it once did.

2021 MYP here. This is garbage, why remove TuneIn?!?!

It may not have been removed. Might be a software bug, particularly if it happened after an update. SiriusXM has disappeared and reappeared for 6 months or more, even being removed from the sources list. Reboots sometimes help, sometimes not. Then days later it will reappear for awhile, and then disappear. This is a common problem. Tesla programmers are not very good.

I have same issue. 2017 model S. It was there yesterday nothing today. I tried soft reboot and it did not fix it. I don’t know of any recent software update. I’m on 2021.24.28

Service solved the problem. To bring back TuneIn, I had to do a factory reset from the main screen. Not a big deal, but I did have to reconfigure all my settings.

2016 Model S with the same issue. It disappeared last week. Our software is 2021.24.28 but I don't think we've gotten an update recently.

Problem solved: I used the app to request service and Tesla was able to reset things remotely so that TuneIn came back within the day.

I traded my 2017 model S and It was able to use streaming for access to some local am and fm radio stations. It was great on long drives to still connect locally. Lots of changes in the new S, some good, some bad.

Did you check the sources menu? Tunein is still included with the car. If you don't see it there, I'd open a service request.

I just checked in the car and on my app and it says that I need to subscribe to premium connectivity. I had ordered the car in the beginning of January and it should have FREE premium connectivity for one year, unless Tesla changed policy again. I am bringing it in for service on Sunday so hoefully I will get some answers.

If you ordered the car new or used from Tesla (S/X) it comes with 1 year of free premium connectivity. See Connectivity (go down to the table).

I'd open a service request. My guess is they can fix it remotely.

I had the mcu2 upgrade done a week ago and tunein stopped working, just get the spinning circle thing. Music streaming is fine. Service suggested I factory reset but I'm hesitant to try it and wipe out all my settings. You'd think they could just reset the tunein settings without wiping out everything else.

That's what I meant by service, they said they were going to try to fix it remotely but couldn't so I ended up factory resetting. Fixed tunein but now music streaming doesn't work.
