I liked the Daft Punk they used at the beginning of the vid.
A quick (VERY brief) summary: He was impressed by what electrics can do. At the end (video at 11:00+) he still prefers the gasser for real track/motorsports (including the motor noise and shifting) but then ... to take home for himself personally ... he points to the Tesla at the end of the video.
When he drives the Tesla first, he says he doesn't miss the engine noise; but later (driving the Lotus) he is back to enjoying the classic sounds and shifting. Near the end he comments on the state of battery development (only 15 years for Li-ion versus 100 for ICE) and thinks in another 20 years batteries will have realistically caught up to where they are "serial production qualified" ( I disagree with this time frame ).
