Turn Display text RED at night

Night vision red light (used on airplanes and boats) is really only useful when the environment is pitch dark. It’s not helpful when you have bright lights outside all the time (like your own headlights, other cars, street lights, etc.). Sounds like a good idea but not really made for the world cars drive in, unfortunately.

It’s great on the water and in the skies because it keeps your night vision and you can more easily see other vehicles that only have dim running lights. They are usually not using bright lights unless near airports or (boats) a searchlight looking for something. If they were, that would kill your night vision.

At night, my aircraft cockpit and it's displays are in RED light.
Are there any updates, thoughts, discussions for the ability to turn the glaring white text on my M3 display RED at night?
In addition to what others said, you have control of the screen brightness. If you wish, you can dim the screen a lot at night. Also, you can turn off the others cabin lights or put in red cabin lights. Don't see it as a problem.
