So, I have a loaner today and it's pretty new and has the new stalks. I noticed while driving home, that there is a rotary switch at the end of the cruise control stalk (similar to the windshield wiper switch on the turn signal stalk). Does this do anything?

Not yet. It will control following distance when active cruise control (ACC) gets enabled in the next software update.

I drove a loaner with the new turn signal position and it felt so strange... I hadn't realized they'd changed it and I'm like WTF???

It's gotta be a 85. That way I know I'm getting supercharger enabled and I need it for the distance...

You can go to the Model S configurator and get a Model S 60 with black paint, black textile interior, piano black decor, supercharging hardware, tech package with autopilot for $77,320 without the federal tax rebate, or $69,820 with the rebate.

If you get the same thing, but with the 85kwh battery pack, it would be $85,320 without the federal tax rebate, or $77,820 with the rebate.

If you don't want textile, but instead want nappa leather, it would add $1,500 to the prices you see above.

Dual chargers are a feature I would recommend too. That adds $1,500.

I strongly suggest buying one online. You only have to wait until March 2015. If you don't now, you'll only have to wait more, and more.
