Turning off car alarm

Is there a trick to turning off an accidental trip of a car alarm? I tried pressing all the buttons on the key fob, opening the app, to no avail. Eventually after about 3 minutes that felt like 10 - it stopped. Neighbors were not too happy...

With the press to lock, I’d guess double press on the back of the fob? That’s the main unlock, I think. Maybe triple press?

How was it set off? What model year? Do you have the interior motion sensor option?

Yesterday while changing tires, alarm was tripped and I turned it off successfully from the app via unlock option.
