Tuxmat Winter Carpets

Oh wow! They're out of stock already! I got an e-mail that they're finally in stock on Feb 12 @1030hrs. I would have thought there would be less interest in this product since I figured lots of people would have considered other mats for the beginning of the winter season?

Glad I got my order in when they e-mailed me. If someone doesn't beat me to this, I'll post some pictures to!

I hope everybody knows about the coupon code? If you find someone who has ordered from TuxMat before, you just need to ask them for their name and order number. With that in hand, call customer service, they can activate a coupon code based on that order # for $10 off.

Cheers!

They were in stock on Friday and when I checked yesterday they had no more. I did have my name on a list to be contacted when they got them in and suppose there were quite a few that did the same therefor stock must have vanished quickly. I did receive a confirmation and tracking number so Tuesday I should be able to put some pictures up.

Would have went to their showroom direct, but they're still closed and don't offer curbside pick-up. =/. What do you think about their new neoprene-ish material? I was kind of sad that they didn't offer their usual faux leather material like all of their old mats...It's what drew me in when my friend had it in his Jeep.

Still no other company offers as as much protection as tuxmat I find with their super high sidewalls. Also +1 for them being a local company. Figured they would know how to build a product that can withstand the amount of garbage the city dumps onto the roads during the winter.

Mats came in today! They're awesome! Material looks like it will hold up to the Canadian winters, and I love how high all the sides go up! They pretty much cover all the base carpeting. Sides near the door frames cover the seams well! The rear mat wall goes super high up to the base of the seats! Pretty awesome.

The drivers side was a bit difficult to get perfect. Had to really force the mat under a piece of plastic that bulged above the accelerator. Think the mis-scanned or something changed, but it still works...I would suggest using a grocery bag or something to slip under the Velcro pucks and pull it out after you got everything fitted. The velcro REALLY sticks to the base material.

Wish they provided a couple more clips with the velcro backing. The other plastic clips provided aren't able to tuck underneath the center console. Going to reach out to the company and see if they're willing to send me some more.

Anyhow, highly recommended mats! Looks like they're back in stock too!

Cheers!

I have experienced the same issue with the fit on the TuxMat's on my 2021 Model Y SR that I received a couple of weeks ago. The right panel on the drivers side that is supposed to fit flush against the center console is both too long and too high (as shown in your pictures) which causes it to bulge out (this could potentially interfere with accelerator peddle that would be safety issue). Also, there is a gap under the under front seats where the mat does not seem to fit correctly around the seat brackets which causes the portion of the mat that goes under the seats to not lie flat on the floor leaving a 1/4" gap. Finally, the panel in the rear that goes up under the rear seat to protect the carpet is too high and will not tuck under the seat without bulging. I have been in touch with the manufacturer and they confirmed that they have not updated the design to compensate for the change in the front seat brackets on the 2021 Model Y which could explain the gap between the mat and the floor under the seats. I really want to like these mats as I appreciate the extra coverage, but I'm concerned about how these fit defects will age overtime and TuxMat have not indicated they are going to correct or change their design to address the fit issues. I'm not sure if If I'm going to return them or not yet.
