New Pano-Roof Setting that allows ALL current Pano-Roofs to electro-chromatically tint the Pano-Window and Rear Window Panes to let us see the Heavens above in the Infra-Red! (Insert some Space-X/Balls thing here)

*Sorry for the bad grammar*

360 degree dashcam constantly recording to a local SSD, 48 hours worth of constant HD footage 360, no matter if the car is parked or moving. The ability for the user to access this and pull out clips (for evidence or just for fun), have the video feed time stamped and tagged for events such as being bumped in to while parked, and of course accidents such as sudden deceleration, flipping over and such things.

Also, if the car is in an accident we know Tesla sometimes call right after to see if the owner is OK - I've read of several instances of this (first that comes to mind is when dmundjal was in a bad crash where he let his landscaper test drive). I think it could be several things triggering such an alert at Tesla HQ, one obvious thing would be having airbags deploy.

Anyway, imagine how cool it would be if the car in the case of such an event started feeding 360 video to Tesla HQ (assuming the systems are still intact or semi-intact and the car has internet connection) where they could help assess the situation, guide first responders etc.

That would be great. There might be privacy concerns in some states or countries but they could allow the owner/driver to address/accept those.

Can't you do all that with the phone app, as is?

I want the keyfob to be one LESS thing I worry about, and disappear - instead of becoming an important item to carry around & loose. I'm already walking dressed up in cameras, bioemtric sensors, gpss, screens and buttons. That evolve WAY faster than the replacements of my car. Use those!

In 10 years that pointlessly schmancy BMW key will be much *much* quainter and legacy than you perceive this phone today:

Yes with all the information from autopilot, navigation and collision avoidance system integrated and visible in the HUD.

Think augmented reality - NAV data overlaying the actual road you're driving on for example, or visual enhancements or marking of for example pedestrians and animals in low-light situations.

Barron's summarized a research report from Trip Chowdry ( Tesla: The Tweets Have It - Stocks to Watch - Barrons.com ) and in it Trip says "There are still at least 2 new features in Model X, that none of us know about"

Not quite sure how Trip knows that but........

let the rampant speculation begin.

It's Trip Chowdry. Referencing him just gives his him oxygen. He is a notoriously wrong bull*.

Ignore him. There is nothing new.

* Could be expanded a bit to be a bit more pejorative.

How about a cool BMW-style key fob with info?

Cool, but wow, that's a little large. Do you find it cumbersome or a non-issue? Will be very interesting if we even get a fob. Who needs those when you can just walk up to your car with your smartphone and viola. Near the rear lift gate or falcon door and a little foot waving action, and open sesame. One can dream. :)
