Type 2 charging cable

That genuine Tesla cable is a bargain. I have a cheapish unbranded one that I bought online and it drops about 15V over 7.5m, wasting power and getting warm to the touch.

That’s mental.

Having said that, by the time I buy the evking one above (8m) and pay shipping and pay import tax I reckon I’ll be up at £300. Then of course I need someone (probably me) to fit it and I’m doing so invalidate any Podpoint warranty that’s with the unit. Having said that it’s been in two years so doubt it’ll be covered anyway.

It's not cheap, but the Tesla button is pretty handy. I figured if there's any issues with the unit in its warranty period, 7 screws later and I'll have their original cable back in place before their engineer turns up...
