Tyre Pressure Monitor when replacing rim

To cut a long story short - I’ve kerbed an alloy and my OCD means I’d like to replace the wheel with a new one - plus there seems to be a general consensus that colour matching any repair is unlikely to be perfect.

My question is - if I turn up at a tyre fitters with a brand new oem rim with the kerbed one still on my car, will they be able to use the tyre pressure monitor / valve etc and just swap the tyres over?

Yes, this shouldn't be a problem and will be a trivial task for the technicians.
