Tyre Wear

So just fitted a set of CC2 tyres to the M3 in preparation for departure to Austria on Wednesday. Asked the tyre place to check the alignment even though Tesla checked and adjusted in January when I found excessive tyre wear. Guess what - they are miles out! So much so that the tyre shop did not have time to adjust today and asked me to bring the car back tomorrow morning. Glad I checked or would have been another set of £200 each tyres down the drain. PS> I am convinced these chaps are right - watched the process and saw the computer print out.

Yup.....not that impressed by Tesla this time. Despite Tesla checking the tow in I am going to take the car to an independent garage to be re-checked.

A rather late reply to an old thread - how did you get on with getting wheel alignments checked at an independant garage?

Seems to be a lot better. done about 3,000 miles since adjustment and tyres appear to be wearing fairly evenly.
